The provisions of Code, with the exception of paragraph 2.8, shall commence operation 6 months after the date of approval of the Code, i.e. on 19 June 1998. Paragraph 2.8 of the Code shall commence operation 12 months after the date of approval of the Code, i.e. on 19 December 1998.
