Code of Practice on the Identity Card Number and other Personal Identifiers
VI. EXCLUSIONS For the avoidance of doubt,
the following paragraph expressly excludes from the coverage
of the Code personal identifiers (including the identity card
number) in certain situations. The following are
not subject to the foregoing sections of the Code:- [Image of Previous Page][Image of image][Image of Next Page]
6.1
6.1.1
any
record of a personal identifier or copy of an identity card held by
an individual for purposes directly related to the management of the
individual's personal, family or household affairs or for the individual's
recreational purposes;
6.1.2
a personal
identifier assigned to an individual who is deceased;
and
61.3
a personal
identifier being furnished without being recorded.
